10 Celebs Who Have Voiced Characters On King Of The Hill

King of the Hill may be one of the most neglected adult animation series ever created. It debuted on Fox in 1997 and ran for 13 seasons, making it one of the longest-running animated series. Centering around the Hill family and their day-to-day lives, in the fictional city of Arlen, Texas, the show was downright humorous and relatable.

Fans of King of the Hill may not realize just how many A-list celebrities voiced characters on the show. There was Alan Rickman, who voiced King Philip in season six, which is by far one of the best episodes of the show, Snoop Dogg, who plays a white, pimp by the name of Alabaster Jones, and fans can't forget all the musicians who made appearances like Willie Nelson and ZZ Top, who starred as themselves.

There were numerous notable guest stars on King of the Hill and they definitely helped to make the show one of the most memorable adult animations ever created.

10 Renee Zellwegger- Tammi Duvall

In season five, episode 13 of King of the Hill, viewers are introduced to Tammi Duvall, who is voiced by actress Renne Zellwegger. 9 Snoop Dogg- Alabaster Jones

In the same episode that starred actress Renee Zellwegger, on season five of King of the Hill, viewers meet Albastor Jones, who we learn is Tammy Duvall's boss. Hilariously, the show hired Snoop Dogg to play the role and he did a fantastic job starring as the white, thin-framed Jones.

Johnny Depp has played countless roles but fans may not have known that he was a guest star on King of the Hill. In season eight, episode 20, titled Hank's Back, the actor played Yogi Victor, an arrogant yoga instructor that helps Hank Hill overcome a bank injury he suffered working at Strickland Propane.

It was the first time Depp lent his voice to a cartoon character. Since then, Depp has lent his voice to many animated movies, including Rango, Corpse Bride, and Sherlock Gnomes.

In the end, viewers get to hear Rickman use a Southern accent, which is by far, one of the greatest things about the episode.

4 Chris Rock-Roger "Booda" Sack

Viewers of the show meet character Roger "Booda" Sack, an energetic stand-up comedian who also teaches at "Defensive Driving School" in season two, episode 16, titled Traffic Jam. Chris Rock gives his voice to the character, who ends up getting a job at Strickland Propane thanks to Hank Hill. Even Brad Pitt gave his voice to the adult animated series, starring as Patch Boomhauer, the estranged brother of Jeff Boomhauer, who is announcing that he is marrying his brother's ex-girlfriend. Hank Hill believes that his good pal is out to sabotage the wedding and things end up going wrong at the Bachelor Party. Boomhauer's ex-girlfriend is also played by famous actress Laura Dern.

1 Tom Petty-Elroy "Lucky" Kleinschmidt

Tom Petty guest-starred as Elroy "Lucky" Kleinschmidt, who eventually married Luanne Platter, Peggy's niece. The creators of King of the Hill adored the character so much, they ended up writing him into the series as a full-time character. Petty was a perfect fit for the character after a successful table read and would go on to voice the character for 28 episodes.
